Barry Air and Incredible Thoughts

Well, it's been a while since my last post, but a lot has changed! I got a new job, which is exciting, anxiety-provoking, challenging, and requires adjustment. Now that I'm mostly adjusted to the new changes in my life, let's get back to what really matters, reviewing different marijuana strains, she said sarcastically.

This next strain is one that I tried with SO, while we went out on the town for some well-deserved quality time. It's called Barry Air and he purchased two pre-rolled joints from our regular dispensary and damn, that shit smacks.

Barry Air is a Hybrid strain, an excellent combination of Girl Scout Cookies and Blue Dream. It consists of 0.34% THC, 24.34% THCA, 0.11% CBD, and 0% CBDA. There isn't much about this strain other than other reviews. But other reviewers have described the following experiences: stimulating mind, boost in creativity, feeling pain free and blissful, and overall relaxation. It had a fruity scent and was smooth considering we smoked it out of two pre-rolled joints.

For the rest of the post, I encourage my readers to listen to this song. This song describes the experience perfectly for me. I like my indicas, sativas, and my hybrids. Bottom line, I love weed. And not only do I love it for the physical relief reasons, I love it because of the psychological benefits I've gotten from it. I consider myself an insightful-oriented person more than a behavior-oriented person. In order for me to make changes in my life, it all starts mentally and manifests itself physically, while others may be more action-oriented (behavioral).

It's a cliche, but I've become much mellower since I started smoking weird. I'm neurotic by nature, but now, I'm less affected by the inconveniences of life, the insecurities I have, and I've been able to grow as a person without beating myself up. I experienced a mental shift, a psychological realignment. I've been more apt to healthier communication, healthier boundaries, and better problem solving skills. I'm not saying that's all because of weed, because I did all the work there. But I see it as a huge part of the equation, like I was the constant and weed was the variable.

The kinds of incredible thoughts that I've had fall somewhere between absolute nonsensical ramblings of unrelated observations and life changing epiphanies. But for Barry Air, the most incredible string of thoughts I can remember went like this:

You know, I can see how Avatar The Last Airbender (ATLA) could happen, within the physics of this universe. Few things to preface, matter is made out of subatomic particles vibrating at different rates near each other and humans are made of matter.

The premise of ATLA is that some people are born with an innate ability to manipulate a specific element: water, air, earth, fire. The equivalent concepts in this universe would be molecules vibrating at different rates for the different stages of matter: solids, liquids, and gases. (Ignore plasma and the plasma debate for a minute.)

Fire in this case would be equivalent to energy. Firebending would be equivalent to manipulating energy. Earthbending, waterbending, and airbending would be manipulate matter that vibrates at a specific frequency. Therefore, humans would have to develop the ability to manipulate the matter around us at certain frequencies.

That's the kind of vibe that comes with Barry Air. An increase in creativity, energy, and mood blended with a mellow undertone, which creates a high that allows you to be present in the moment and enjoy existing. I felt relief and bliss. I would recommend this strain for anyone looking for a good time! Go out with a friend, go for a walk, take a bubble bath, whatever, just make sure to smoke a a bowl of Barry Air while doing it.

Obligatory Introductory Post

Hello!  Welcome to I Want What She's Smoking, the cannabis review blog from a stoner's mind. Currently, I'm waiting for a sativa edible to sink in, so this is the perfect time to get into the zone regarding actually starting the blog that I promised myself I would make.     This blog purports to review various cannabis products, specifically flower, from the state of someone who is experiencing the effects of the product, a cannabis review from the mind of a stoner; what thoughts, feelings, and physical experiences that come with each product. Now, I'm just one individual and the way some cannabis products effect my psychological and physical state are somewhat unique and may not adequately portray others' experiences, so I encourage any reader to comment their experiences as to obtain the complete picture of a cannabis product.      I plan to organize my posts based on the following formula: Basic product information Qualities Consumption Context Experienc...

Pre '98 Bubba Kush and Self-Acceptance

Hello! Starting off, we have Pre '98 Bubba Kush.  *A lot of my information about general reported qualities comes from this  website *     I tried this strain before and it's a classic. Pre '98 Bubba Kush is an Indica, meaning it's more of a body high. It was comprised of 0.27% THC, 10.95% THCA, 0.28% CBD, and 13.94% CBDA. For those who are kind of new to the marijuana world, THC has the high properties to it, and CBD has the physical relaxation/pain relieving properties.  The reported qualities that this strain has are as follows, according to Leafly: consistent heavy body sensation, pain relief, pungent, musky scent, and coffee-like taste. Smoking, Science, and Spirituality

Hello!      Since I've been puffing pot, I've had instances where my high self is overwhelmed with curiosity. When you're high, your thoughts seem very insightful and deep, even though they rarely are insightful and deep. You wonder about things in the world and your brain makes some connections that feel new and intriguing!     One of these instances had an unexpected impact on me. The first instance of this new hobby came in the Summer of 2019. My partner, SO, and I were trying out a trial run at living together. He had a Summer lease in his school-owned apartment and I had my apartment near my university, but worked in the town he was located so I stayed with him. We had been dating an hour away for the majority of our relationship and were, for a lack of a better term, testing our relationship and compatibility. We decided to use the Summer as a trial run for living together. With both of us taking Summer classes and working, our Summer was pretty busy, but ...
